This cute family has been in my prayers everyday for the last seven months. Kevin and I went to high school together. Truth be told, he and his friends were some of my very favorite parts of high school. They were crazy and fun and smart and nice and lucky for me, I got in on some of their awesome adventures. I will never forget them.
Kevin lost a valiant battle with cancer last Tuesday.

You will be amazed and inspired. I hope she knows how grateful so many people are for her willingness to share their experience and her talent, humor and grace. In one of her most recent posts, she talked about their new family motto, "Make Today Count". This means to say I love you often, to be kind, to have fun, to be honest and happy and sincere and grateful. It means in essence, to be everything Kevin was. How blessed I am to be counted among his many, many friends. How blessed we are to know that families are forever. This cute family will be in my prayers still and for a long time to come and in honor of them, I plan on making today count.
