Happy Birthday Sydney and Merry Christmas to All!

Sydney turned 12 on December 19th - I can't believe that she is so big!  She had two crazy parties, one with her dance friends and one with her cute neighborhood buddies and kids from school.  She is such a fun girl. . .we love her!  Time goes so fast!

We went to Grandma Moss' for Christmas Eve dinner and craziness.  We wonder how long Grandpa and Grandma will last having us all come to their house!  They are patient and we are thankful because it is the kids favorite day of the year.
Oh yeah - and go UTAH... we do not brain wash our children.

Christmas morning is always awesome around here.  Luckily, we got to sleep until 7:40am, but only because we threatened them.  Everyone seemed happy with their Santa treasures, except for a few little glitches. . .  Lizzie got a new ipod, but our computer crashed on Christmas Eve, so no songs on the new ipod - sorry Lizzie.  Sydney got a new camera, but no memory card (WHAT!?  Who sells a camera without a memory card?  That would be Sony, note to self, remind Santa to check for memory cards.)  Alex got an XBOX 360 - awesome- but only one controller -not awesome- dad couldn't play with him, bummer, didn't really think dad would want to - who knew?!  All in all, lots of cool stuff, happy kids, tired parents and a very messy house - which by the way I should go clean, but instead I am blogging on our new, not part of the Christmas budget, computer.   Again, who knew?!

This game Sydney got called "WHOONU"  is a super fun family game - we have spent hours playing already.  Totally worth picking up.

Ask Lizzie, she will tell you, "Sponge Bob is my life."  Whatever, sounds like a pretty pathetic life to me, but I guess if your new ipod doesn't have any songs on it, it might be the next best thing...
and we heard Him exclaim as he drove out of sight -
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!

NO FOR REAL. . .

I know, I am the most ridiculous blogger in the history of the world, but starting NOW, I promise I will try harder! I'm not even going to attempt to catch up on the last YEAR, but I will try to hit at least the last two months! Life is just crazy at our house. Sometimes crazy is good and sometimes crazy is not so good - especially when the mother ends up going crazy. Here goes:

Alex decided that it would be a good idea to play football AND soccer this year. (WHAT?! Who told him that was ok??) So our Saturday's generally started at about 7:00 and we went from soccer in who knows where (Roy to Provo) to football in who knows where (all over the valley to Park City). The girls would tend themselves all day because I am such a wonderful mother. Anyway, it is over, it was awesome and all in all, we are glad he did it. He just made the Sophomore Basketball team at Hillcrest (he is in 9th grade) and so we are now moving on to that! It will be a blast!

Then Sydney auditioned for the Odyssey Dance production "THRILLER" and she and a bunch of her cute dance friends made it. Of course they volunteered to be one of their traveling casts becuase they wanted to spend a week in St. George. Who needs school, right? Anyway, they danced in Provo, Logan and St. George which actually in the end made for a nice little vacation. They had a great time and loved every minute of hanging out with really cute guys from "So You Think You Can Dance" - whatever. . . Syd and Lizzie both changed dance studios. We are at a great new studio called "XCITE" - good stuff going on there. We love it.

They are really cute aren't they. . .

So Lizzie doesn't have many teeth right now:

My cute (and very talented) sister in law, Carolyn actually carved Lizzie pumpkin's mouth to look just like hers. She is dancing, singing, playing the piano, and is currently the best new Junior Jazz Player around, just ask her. I will be sure to take pictures of that. She is so funny. I promise I will turn over a new blogging leaf.
