30 DAYS. . .

30 DAYS. . .
3 Birthdays
3 Birthday Parties
1 Christmas
1 Broke Dad
1 Tired Mom
3 Happy, Lucky Kids - and a Dog

BIRTHDAY #1. . .
Sydney turned the big 10 on December 19th. We had her "BIRTHDAY BREAKFAST BASH" two days later when school got out for Christmas. Her cute friends came in their pj's and ate cereal and doughnut cake, made pillow cases and played crazy games. They were so cute and we all had a blast.

This was her real birthday night. We figured, foolishly, she couldn't have a birthday without a cake. We literally had her blow out the candles and we threw the cake away, uneaten, 3 days later! Duh.

This would be the birthday doughnut. Enjoy.

Syd and her girls!

Christmas. . .2006

Notice that our oldest is mysteriously missing from this cute Christmas Eve picture. He puked all through Christmas. Poor kid!

See, not looking so hot.

Rudolph and Rudolph - Syd and her cute cousin Makail. We all got these noses from Grandpa and Grandma Moss. They were a hit, as you can imagine. Lizzie wore hers for days.

Good Christmas Morning! We were relieved that Santa made it.

Don't even ask. This goes on a lot. We spent Christmas Eve at the Moss' and Christmas Day at the Hopkin's, followed by a quiet night at home wondering who would be throwing up next. Luckily, no one did! We love Christmas and the time we spend with our family.

BIRTHDAY #2. . .
Lizzie turned 6 on January 12th. We partied really all day. Before Kindergarten, I took her to Build-A-Bear, where we created her new best buddy, MYA the Snow Leopard. Then we took chocolate doughnuts to school and then had her party at Bouncin' Off the Walls with 18 cute friends. We bounced for 2 solid hours and I'm hoping they all slept really good that night. It was a fun day for a funny girl.

This is her new American Girl doll that she named Elizabeth - she's very creative. They got twinner pj's. . .big hit.

Look at all those cute little party animals! This place was seriously the bomb. They did everything - I just played with the kids and brought the cake! That's my kind of party.
Sometimes 18 really seems like 30 or so.

BIRTHDAY #3. . .

Alex's birthday was January 18th and it is true, we are the proud parents of a teenager! I think it was the year of the snowboard at our house - he wanted a new one too. He had a party that weekend at the cabin with one of his other friends that had a birthday the same week. The kids had a blast (I think- it seemed like it). We went sledding all night and had all the boys sleep over. Chuck drove the girls home around midnight. They are really fun kids.

We all went to dinner with the grandparents - and came back home for cake and ice cream. We were glad to have their company, birthdays and school nights really don't mix.

Alex and his "peeps" - this is a cute bunch of kids. I love them all.

The birthday buddies - Alex and Austin. Evan wrecked his knee playing basketball the night before this party and couldn't go, so I have to give a shout out to our good friends the Parmley's and our ever faithful friend, Chuck, who really came through for me. They hauled all our crap and drove the snowmobiles, cooked and helped clean up. They really just made everything so great and easy for me. I love those guys! Happy Birthday AL!
